Overview
Create Wellspring invites artists to submit visual artworks for the upcoming exhibition, Beyond Borders:
Contemporary Visions of Latin America. This group show will celebrate the diversity, depth, and dynamic
expression of Latin American culture through multiple artistic lenses.
Exhibition Theme
This exhibition highlights visual interpretations of Latin American culture, history, and influence. Artists are
encouraged to submit works that explore:
- Landscapes depicting the natural beauty and regional identity of Latin American countries.
- Portraits of iconic Latin figures, including artists, activists, and legendary athletes.
- Architectural studies showcasing culturally significant buildings and structures.
- Abstract works rooted in Latin traditions, symbolism, and contemporary narratives.
- Soccer-themed art, celebrating the legacy of the sport in Latin America, including national pride, World Cup
moments, and iconic players. (Note: The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted in Arlington, Texas.)
Eligibility & Media
Open to artists 18 and older.
Eligible media includes:
- Painting, drawing, photography
- Sculpture and pottery
Call for Artists: Art Exhibit at Create Wellspring
- Mixed media, digital art, and video
- Performance and installation proposals (include written concept)
All work must have been created within the past two years.
Submission Guidelines
- Artists may submit up to three works for consideration.
- Submission fee: $25 (covers up to 3 artworks). Payment link will be provided.
- Each submission must include:
- Title, medium, dimensions, and year created
- High-resolution images (JPEG or PNG, 300 dpi)
- Artist statement (maximum 150 words) explaining the connection to the exhibition theme
